Method 18 Full Color_4x.png

Heading 3

Method 18 is a unique 3-day experience for the serious rising 7th, rising 8th, & rising 9th grade lacrosse player who wants to be prepared to transition from competitive youth lacrosse to the modern high school game. Method 18 will be staffed by current public and private high school coaches from across the country. The three-day event will have players boarding on ONU’s campus and utilizing their athletic facilities.

Players will receive skill development sessions, strength & conditioning seminars, performance testing, competitive drills, and film sessions. Method 18 will be structured to resemble the time commitment of a competitive high school and/or college program. Camp will conclude with all star rosters being released at each grad year. Parents will receive an hour-long Q&A with HS Coach Staff regarding admissions, academics, and private school considerations.

Method 18 is about players individual development, this is not a showcase event nor is the goal to expose middle schoolers to the recruiting process. We want the Method 18 experience to better equip players with aspirations of college lacrosse for the immense responsibility and maturity necessary to be successful at these levels.

The first day of camp will double down on this focusing exclusively on skill work, small sided games, & performance testing. The Method 18 staff will than draft players to teams at each grad year for competitive games the rest of the week based on their first days effort. We hope that this formula helps us drive home that lacrosse skill is only one part of the METHOD.
